Lacrimal Drainage Tube Product Introduction
FEATURE
Product Feature for Type A
1.Made of silicone rubber, soft and highly elastic, causing minimal damage to the lacrimal duct tissue.
2.Excellent biocompatibility with no irritation or allergic reactions.
3.The metal probe has a teardrop-shaped tip with a smooth transition, reducing damage to the lacrimal duct and facilitating easy extraction through the nasal cavity.
Product Feature for Type C
1.Made of silicone rubber, soft and highly elastic, causing minimal damage to the lacrimal duct tissue.
2.Simple operation process, no need for nasal cavity retrieval or lacrimal duct dilation, with short procedure time and quick mastery.
3.High success rate of catheter insertion, ensuring smooth drainage without obstruction.
4.Easy and convenient removal of the tube, requiring no general anesthesia.
5.Compared to traditional surgery, the procedure is simpler, causes less discomfort to patients, results in minimal bleeding, has a low recurrence rate, and leaves no scarring.
6.Provides the best results for fractured lacrimal ducts and is significantly effective for lacrimal duct stenosis.
APPLICATION SCOPE
1.Lacrimal Duct Obstruction When the lacrimal drainage system is blocked, tears cannot drain properly, leading to tearing, infections, and other problems. A lacrimal drainage tube is surgically implanted to help establish or maintain normal tear drainage, alleviating the symptoms of obstruction.
2.Chronic Dacryocystitis
Chronic dacryocystitis is a condition where the lacrimal sac experiences long-term infection, often accompanied by duct obstruction. The use of a lacrimal drainage tube can improve tear drainage and reduce the frequency of infections.
3.Lacrimal Duct Narrowing
For patients with partial narrowing of the lacrimal ducts, the drainage tube can help dilate the duct and ensure smooth tear drainage, preventing total obstruction.
4.Post-Surgical Assistance
After surgeries involving the lacrimal duct (such as dacryocystorhinostomy or lacrimal duct reconstruction), the lacrimal drainage tube can be temporarily implanted to maintain the duct’s patency, preventing scar tissue from causing another blockage.
5.Injury or Surgery-Related Damage to the Lacrimal Duct
When the lacrimal system is damaged due to trauma or eye surgery, the lacrimal drainage tube can aid in reconstructing and restoring normal tear drainage.
6.Congenital Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction in Newborns
Congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction is a common problem in newborns. It can usually be resolved with massage or irrigation, but in severe cases, a lacrimal drainage tube can help open the blocked duct and promote normal tear flow.
